The Founder and Executive Director of CWF,  Wells has formed and led multiple profitable and sustainable business initiatives—with a focus on contributing social value—across diverse cultures and organizations throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. He has over 25 years of experience in providing analysis, strategy, insight and leadership to companies in international markets.  A wounded veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, Wells has proactively established several non-profits and charities, including CWF. 
 
Wells’ background includes extensive interaction with Angel and venture capital resources as well as international corporations, state and local government organizations, trade missions, and economic development organizations. His experience across the globe has led to his involvement in such prestigious annual invitation-only events as the World Economic Forum and the Forbes Global CEO Conference.
 
In addition to serving on the Boards of The Friends of the Light House Shelter and Candle of Light organizations, he also serves as the Treasurer and Board Member for the organization  A Fair Shake for Youth, and is involved as a dedicated supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, The Navy Seal Foundation, 31 Heroes Project, The Travis Manion Foundation and the Special Operations Command Family Support Organization.
 
Wells holds memberships in an extensive range of organizations including Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Fleet Reserve Association, Wounded Warrior Project Alumni, The OSS Society, The American Legion,  Iraq Afghanistan Veterans Association (IAVA), Trout Unlimited, The Royal Overseas League and The Harvard Club of NY.
